Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Best Price Flights (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use bestpriceflights.info, our Android apps, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Who we are
Best Price Flights is operated by RexSoft, based in South Wales, United Kingdom. The developer website is rexsoft.site.
For privacy questions, email rexsoft24@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the Service, we may process:
- Account details from Google Sign-In: name, email address, profile photo, and a stable Google account identifier.
- Search and alert data you create: routes, dates, airports, price thresholds, market and currency preferences, and the history of recorded fares for those searches.
- Device and notification data: push tokens for Android apps, Web Push subscriptions for browsers, and your email/push notification preferences.
- Billing metadata from Stripe (subscription tier, status, renewal date, customer and subscription IDs). We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical logs needed to run the Service, such as timestamps and error diagnostics. We do not use advertising cookies or sell personal data.
3. Google Sign-In
You sign in with Google. There is no separate email/password registration. We use Google account information only to authenticate you and to associate your searches, alerts, devices, and subscription with your account.
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can disconnect access in your Google Account permissions and ask us to delete your Best Price Flights profile.
4. Third-party fare data
The Service looks up publicly available flight prices from third-party search engines and data providers (currently including Google Flights, Skyscanner, and Kiwi). Those lookups are made to show you comparative fares and to watch routes you save.
Fare results are not personal data about you, but your saved routes and watch criteria are. We are not those providers, and their own privacy policies apply when you leave our Service to view or book a fare on their sites.
5. Payments
Paid plans are billed by Stripe. When you start a checkout or open the billing portal, you interact with Stripe’s hosted pages. Stripe processes your payment method (card or PayPal where enabled) under Stripe’s Privacy Policy. We receive confirmation of payment status so we can unlock the correct plan. We do not see or store your full card number, CVC, or PayPal password.
6. Notifications
If you enable them, we send price-drop and related alerts by email, Android push (Firebase Cloud Messaging via Azure Notification Hubs), and/or browser Web Push. You can turn each channel off in your portal profile. Uninstalling an app or clearing site data also removes that device’s subscription.
7. Cookies and local storage
We use essential storage only, so the Service can function. This includes:
- Session tokens so you stay signed in after Google Sign-In.
- Market and currency preferences.
- Web Push subscription records in supported browsers.
- PWA / “Add to Home Screen” data if you install the web app.
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Because this storage is required for sign-in and alerts, the Service cannot operate fully without it.
8. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Provide fare tracking, saved searches, and alerts.
- Authenticate you and keep your data separate from other users.
- Process subscriptions and show your plan limits.
- Operate, secure, and debug the Service.
- Respond to support requests.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
Our lawful bases under UK GDPR include performing our contract with you, legitimate interests in running a secure service, and legal obligation where it applies. For optional notifications, we rely on your settings (consent you can withdraw at any time).
9. Who we share information with
We share information only with processors who help us run the Service:
- Google — Sign-In and, if you use Android push, Firebase Cloud Messaging.
- Stripe — checkout, invoices, and the customer billing portal.
- Microsoft Azure — hosting, APIs, and database storage.
- Fare data providers — route and date parameters needed to look up prices. We do not send them your name or email for those lookups.
We do not sell personal information or share it with advertisers.
10. Retention and security
We keep account, search, and alert data while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove or anonymise personal records unless we must retain them for legal, billing, or security reasons (for example, Stripe invoices). We use industry-standard access controls on our cloud infrastructure; no method of transmission is completely secure.
11. Your rights
If you are in the UK or EEA, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, and you may object to certain processing. Email rexsoft24@gmail.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
In the US, depending on your state, you may have similar rights to know, delete, or opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.
12. International transfers
We use cloud processors that may store or process data in the UK, EEA, United States, or other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses used by those processors.
13. Children
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
14. Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date will change, and material updates may be highlighted in the portal or by email.
